Detector Dog Owen

Owen graduated from the National Detector Dog Training Center in Newnan, Georgia in May 2022. Using his keen sense of smell, Owen detects unmarked packages containing agricultural products entering San Diego County through various shipping facilities. Owen is an enthusiastic and dedicated worker who is always eager to please. When he’s not working hard to protect California’s agriculture, Owen enjoys swimming, hiking, and napping with his favorite toys.

Owen is a sweet and affectionate dog, and he loves being the center of attention.
