Devon Keeler

Devon Keeler was appointed Deputy Secretary for Communications and External Affairs at the California Department of Food and Agriculture by Governor Newsom. Previously, she was Assistant Executive Director, Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships at the California Governor's Office of Service and Community Engagement. Keeler was Senior Communications Officer at the California Department of Public Health from 2021 to 2022. She held multiple positions at Mercury Public Affairs from 2011 to 2021, including Vice President, Director, and Senior Associate. Keeler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Devon loves water sports and spending time outdoors with her husband and two kids.
