Become Certified in Avian Disease Program

The Avian Health Program offers avian disease prevention-training courses on this web site. These courses will teach you how to protect against bird diseases such as exotic Newcastle disease. Certificates will be awarded to each person who successfully completes a course. Courses will be offered to owners and employees of pet stores, swap meets, feed mills and stores, and custom slaughter plants. Courses will also be available for backyard bird breeders and pet bird owners. The training courses will be added to the web site as they are developed.
