This is a release that specifies the minimum producer prices for Classes 1, 2, 3, 4a and 4b Market Milk F.O.B. plant, by area and month. The prices for Classes 1, 4a and 4b are announced every month, and the prices for Classes 2 and 3 are announced every other month. The prices for Class 1 are usually announced on the tenth day of the month and apply to subsequent month. The prices for Classes 2, 3, 4a and 4b are usually announced on the last day of the month. Prices for Classes 4a and 4b apply to the month just completed, while the prices for Classes 2 and 3 apply to two months following the price announcement.
