Biologics Program
California continues to operate the only federally approved Biologics Program in the country. This program was established in 1974 by legislative acts as a result of the 1971–72 Exotic Newcastle Disease outbreak in Southern California. The program is modeled after the USDA Center for Veterinary Biologics. The program licenses biologics products for use with California‘s livestock and poultry industry that meet the unique needs of our state. Fill out AHB Form 76–051 (Rev6/04) to apply.
