Current Responsibilities

  • Identification and taxonomic studies of plant-parasitic and free-living nematodes.  Diagnoses of regulatory nematode situations and related potential agricultural problems.
  • Provide scientific consultations through nematological information, expertise, guidance and educational workshops/training primarily to government agencies, agribusinesses and general public.
  • Research

  • Nematode taxonomy (plant-parasitic and free-living: soil and marine, with special interest
    in Criconematoidea and Diplogasterina)
  • Nematode biology, host-parasite interactions, predaceous nematodes, methodologies.
