Description
Pale-green with black spotting, cream flesh, soft skin covered in small
oblong scale-like overlapping lobes, round or heart shaped, usually smooth, large seeds,
up to 5 inches long.
Origin
El Salvador, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam
Comments
Host for fruit flies (including Anastrepha spp. & Ceratitis
spp.), moths (Tortricidae, Gelechiidae), scale amd mealybugs.
