California State Trade Export Program

The California Department of Food and Agriculture, in collaboration with a variety of federal and state government agencies, private and non-profit trade promotion organizations, has developed an array of activities designed to assist California small businesses with export sales and international market expansion.

California Small Business Export Program (California STEP):

  • Individual Company Export Promotion (ICEP) Program – Information/Registration
  • The Individual Company Export Promotion (ICEP) program is a sub-program of California STEP. The ICEP program will be used to reimburse eligible California small businesses up to $3,000 USD for specific export promotion related expenses performed on trade promotion related activities.

The STEP program is funded in part through a grant award by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Funding is not an endorsement of any product, opinion, or service. All Federal and State funded programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Special arrangements for individuals with disability will be made if requested in advance.
