SPECIALTY CROP BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
 On May 21, 2009 the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), officially announced the availability of Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) funds allocated to States. The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) will receive $15 million in SCBGP funds to be awarded for projects that solely enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops.
