Description

Reddish-purple or dull purple-brown, smooth thick skin, 5-7 seeds, 2-3 inch diameter, round, 4 large sepals, 4-8 distinct white raised marks on bottom, waxy white syrupy flesh divided into sections.

Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam

Comments

Host for fruit flies (including Ceratitis spp.), mealybugs, moths (Gelechiidae), and scales.
