SWEEP Southern Desert Region Pilot Program
The SWEEP Pilot Program application period closed on November 8, 2022.
The SWEEP Pilot Program for the southern desert will disperse up to $2 million to California agricultural operations investing in irrigation systems that save water and do not result in an increase in GHG emissions. For this purpose of this solicitation the southern desert region is defined as Imperial County and Riverside County, east of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains (Figure 1).
