SECRETARY KAWAMURA TO SPEAK ABOUT THE FREEZE, FARM BILL AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL ISSUES

WHAT: California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary A.G. Kawamura will be hosting a media availability to discuss the freeze, the farm bill and other current agricultural issues.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 2:00-2:30 p.m.

WHY: To allow time for a candid discussion between Secretary Kawamura and the media to discuss current issues facing the agricultural industry.  Topics of conversation may include the freeze, the 2007 Farm Bill, and other agricultural issues.

DIRECTIONS: Heading South on Highway 99 take Exit 85 toward Paige Ave.  Stay straight to go onto the frontage road. Turn Left onto S Blackstone St., Left onto E. Paige Ave., and Right onto S Laspina St. Heading North on Highway 99, take exit 85 toward Paige Ave. Turn slight right onto the frontage road, right onto E Paige Ave and then right onto S Laspina St.
