SECRETARY LYONS OFFERS CONDOLENCES ON PASSING OF NEVADA AGRICULTURE DIRECTOR

SACRAMENTO – CDFA Secretary William (Bill) J. Lyons, Jr. has noted, with sadness, the passing of Nevada Agriculture Director Paul Iverson, who passed away this week after a long illness. Iverson had served the state of Nevada since 1995.

“Paul Iverson had great pride in Nevada agriculture and shared the enthusiasm we have here in California for promotion and marketing,” said Secretary Lyons. “It was an honor to work alongside Paul on issues of common interest. I wish to pass along my condolences to his family.”

Secretary Lyons and Director Iverson collaborated on a number of occasions through their affiliation with NASDA, the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.
