SACRAMENTO, October 7, 2002-CDFA Secretary William (Bill) J. Lyons, Jr. will announce the recipients of Governor Gray Davis’ $7 million Buy California Competitive Grants Program during a two-day swing through California on October 9 and 10.
There were 250 applications for grant funding, with the recipients selected in a competitive process that evaluated the projects based on their value to the largest number of California specialty crop producers.
