Conservation and Dairy Digester Systems on Agenda
SACRAMENTO-An energy forum targeted at California’s dairy industry is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, May 18, at the International Agri Center in Tulare.
The California Department of Food and Agriculture, the California Energy Commission and the University of California Extension Service are teaming up with representatives from industry to present the forum, which will feature discussions on conservation and methane gas-powered dairy digester systems. Governor Gray Davis recently signed SB 5X, which includes $10 million for the financing of dairy digester systems.
The energy forum is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM and continue until 2:00 PM. There is no cost for attendance.
