Position: Scientific/Agricultural Aide

• Pay-scale: competitive; pay differential available for students with 8 hours or more of science course credit on transcript record
• Type: seasonal, non-permanent
• Duration: 9 month with possibility for renewal

• Position Description:
• Individual will aid the scientific staff in the Entomology Laboratory at the Plant Pest Diagnostic Center, including: 1) insect specimen screening, 2) preparation of specimens for inclusion in the state arthropod collection, 3) data entry of label information for insect specimens, 4) miscellaneous curatorial and lab procedures as needed.
