Cleaning and Processing of Parc Boxes

All PARC boxes must be cleaned and dried after every use. When not knocking down flies for a flight, the Aerial Release Team work in our wash rack area where PARC boxes are cleaned with high pressure sprayers. All used agar trays are also processed through the wash rack. After cleaning with pressure sprayers, the PARC boxes are stacked in the sun to dry. The lids of the PARC boxes and agar trays are placed on racks to dry.
