CDFA eGOVERNMENT Development Team

The CDFA eGovernment unit was formed in September 2001 to provide Internet-enabled application development using cutting-edge technology, and is likely unique in current California State government agencies. The Department was successful in recruiting some of the top local web developers from private industry to staff this new unit.

The developers in the eGovernment unit have tackled some of the most challenging Internet applications in the industry including e-commerce, dynamic content for websites, inventory tracking systems, and dynamic calendars. Collectively they have developed hundreds of websites for corporations, organizations, and government agencies, and won numerous awards including Webbies, Sacramento Web Awards, The Golden Web Award, and CDFA Superior Accomplishment Awards.
