The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is pleased to announce a competitive application process for the 2015 State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP) authorized by emergency drought legislation AB 91 (Chapter1, Statutes of 2015). The 2015 SWEEP solicitation will provide a up to $10 million in grant funding to agriculture operations to implement conservation measures that result in water savings and reduced greenhouse gas emissions in irrigation systems.
CDFA is partnering with the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) to host an online application submission process using the Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST). Grant applications must be submitted electronically on the FAAST system, which can be accessed through the SWRCB website at https://faast.waterboards.ca.gov.
