Health requirements for admitting Diseased and Disabled Livestock into California
DISEASED or DISABLED livestock or poultry require a PERMIT and must be
consigned directly to a slaughter plant under official inspection, or
other authorized recipient. Sales of these animals are restricted to
persons listed as authorized buyers for California slaughter plants.
